This gate just on the edge of Stonehurst, leads to a conservancy area. It struck me as odd and beautiful in the middle of the woods.

This flat rock and deep knell makes me think of glaciers sliding across the earth.

In the town of Waltham, MA, there is a place called Stonehurst. On a recent rainy day I visited this historic house, as well as Gore House, also in Waltham.
