Now, by no means do I endorse defacing the property of others or public property. This little urban amusement, however, did tickle my funny bone...
This blog is being used to document the beauty of the world around me, which occurs every day but is too often over looked. By taking this time to reflect I hope to better appreciate life, and to share this with others.

67. First taste of summer
A first (sweet cream) taste of summer, at Toscinini's in Cambridge.
A mindful memorial day, and a happy summer season, all.

66. Spiders
In general I don't particularly like spiders, because they bite me and boy does it itch. But the other day I noticed this wee beastie on my driver's side mirror, which reminded me of the wonderful work spiders do in eating other pests that hurt our gardens and bite us, and the majesty of their web work.

Update on lost time...
I fell off my bike, down the stairs, and then had the bike fall on me the other day and was thus out of commission for a bit. I'm feeling better, the swelling of my ankle has definately gone down. Just don't look at the bruises on my legs :]
So, today I am thankful for a quick recovery.

46. Cleansing rains
Most of the time I don't like it when it rains, because it makes me ache. Today, I am thankful because it clears the pollen away to deplete my allergies, and helps the lovely flowers grow. The next few days will be a series of flora at Eastern Nazarene College.

45. Bells of St. Bridget
I'm rather stressed out lately. School is coming to an end in a few weeks and many changes are going on in my life. Suffice it to say, I've been rushing around too much for my own good. After running some errands I was in a terrible mood when the bells of St. Bridget's in Abington, MA brought me back to reality. Today, I am thankful for church bells and a moment to stop the rush.
