246. Study Nature

My birthday, in April, was two weeks before my comprehensive and liscensure exam for my grad program. As I felt graduating (with my masters degree) and earning my liscense was a little more important than celebrating my birthday, which could be celebrated later. So, three months later my partner and I took a day trip to the Cape to celebrate!

We visited Woods Hole and Falmouth, travelling on rt 28, and rt 6. This photo was taken in Woods Hole.

240. Gore House - Romantic spot

Today, in a different location, I will be participating in the wedding of I wish them happiness, and to always be able to find a few moments to enjoy romantic spots and quiet moments like the one below.

And yes, if you were wondering, Gore House does host weddings.

233. Gore House - Farm Land

It should be noted that Harry and the Potters is playing at Gore House TOMORROW July 12th, 3pm. Tickets are $10. Stop by and enjoy some wizard rock. (This was particularly amusing to me as I went to college with one of the band members.)

Here is the fallow farm land...

229. Gore House

Gore House was the farm of former Massachusetts governor, Christopher Gore. The owner of the "Monticello of the North" served as govenor in the early 1800s.

Gore house is located in Waltham, not far from Watertown , which is home to the Perkins School for the Blind. I've noticed more braille in the metro-west area, probably because of Perkins. It still makes me very happy to see.

228. Gated community

This gate just on the edge of Stonehurst, leads to a conservancy area. It struck me as odd and beautiful in the middle of the woods.

On to Gore House!

226. Purple mountain's majesty...

While not a mountain per se, this wide green space reminds we what is beautiful in the United States. Happy 4th of July.
